This project started as a high-poly Jeep Gladiator I had modeled previously. I took that base and reimagined it as a Rocket League-style vehicle, adapting the proportions to fit the Octane hitbox from the game. The design was refined to match the exaggerated, sporty style seen in Rocket League’s official roster.
I studied Bobby McCoin’s artwork closely during the process, using it as a stylistic benchmark for proportions, surface treatment, and silhouette. My goal was to maintain recognizable Jeep elements while pushing the design into a more game-ready, stylized direction.
Currently in the retopo phase, with plans to finalize for both game-ready and cinematic presentation.
